Healthcare Relief (Healthcare for Africa )(HC4A) is a registered charity (1135979) in the UK focusing purely on the relief of poverty and sickness and the promotion and preservation of good health for the benefit of the public, in particular but not exclusively in sub-Saharan Africa, by the provision of healthcare centres and medical aid, equipment & assistance..
As a fledgling Charity, Healthcare Relief (Healthcare for Africa) has also endeavoured to offer a totally unique system of accountability to all of its donors, members and partners with a transparent (financial) reporting system. With a dependency on the social and moral consciousness of its supporters, Healthcare Relief (Healthcare for Africa) is open to develop a policy of working with other charitable organisations such to offer amenable options for people who, apart from monetary; wish to donate clothing’s and medical equipment and consumables towards improved Africa Healthcare system.
Mr Leonard Torsu MBA, FCIPS, International Supply Chain Consultant and CEO of HC4A said, his motivation to set up this charitable organisation to support the deprived stem from his childhood upbringing. He said, “I help the poor and the needy because I know their pains; I have been there”.

We work in partnership with existing structures, organisations, institutions, in delivering effective healthcare services.
Our main aim is to work towards the relief of poverty and sickness, as well as the promotion and preservation of good health for Africans. This umbrella aim translates into the following objectives
- To access and deliver medical aid to Africans in great need
- To run public health campaigns for people of African origins
- To conduct systematic research on public health and their socio-economic implications
- To explore options for developing healthcare centers across the continent
- To work in partnership with existing structures, organisations, institutions, in delivering effective healthcare services.
- To provide accessible free healthcare services for the deprived.
We will do this by recruiting competent and dedicated country representatives who will ensure delivery of healthcare products reach the deprived; our target audience.
We will thrive to be the centre of excellence or first point of contacts for international operations in Africa including voluntary mission services in Africa
